What is Ving Tsun?
Ving Tsun (also written Wing Chun) is a traditional Southern Chinese martial art renowned for its efficiency, directness, and scientific approach to combat. Unlike many martial arts that rely on strength or athleticism, Ving Tsun uses structure, sensitivity, and intelligent positioning to overcome larger, stronger opponents.
The system was famously taught by Grandmaster Ip Man in Hong Kong, where it attracted students including the legendary Bruce Lee. Today, Ip Man Ving Tsun is practised worldwide, but authentic transmission from direct lineage holders remains rare.
